Alisha has over 20 years of experience in HR, working alongside growing organizations to help leaders navigate the real challenges that come with managing people—compliance, tough conversations, and building teams that actually work.
She started Build Your Roots HR after seeing how overwhelming HR can feel for small business owners who are trying to do the right thing without a dedicated HR team. Her goal is to make HR feel more approachable, practical, and aligned with how your business actually operates.
Alisha is especially passionate about helping leaders feel confident in their decisions and building workplaces where both the business and its people can thrive.
Outside of work, you’ll find her near the water or spending time with her family and her dog, Carlos
